How VerifiedCelebs Builds a Profile
VerifiedCelebs is designed to answer a practical question: which public accounts and reference records belong to the same person, creator, brand or team? A profile is assembled only when several signals can be organized into a useful identity record.
Identity matching
We compare names, usernames, links between official accounts, public descriptions, entity type, category and country. Matching names alone are not treated as sufficient evidence. Ambiguous records may remain unpublished or carry fewer details until additional evidence is available.
What the audience numbers mean
Audience figures are public snapshots collected at different times. The combined audience is a sum across the tracked accounts shown on the page; it is not a count of unique people and should not be read as one. Rankings compare profiles available in the VerifiedCelebs dataset at the time of calculation, so they can change as accounts and coverage change.
Sources and attribution
Profiles can reference official social accounts, official websites, Wikidata, Wikipedia, IMDb and other clearly identified public sources. Source links are provided where available. Third-party photographs, names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Publishing threshold
Not every database record is promoted to search engines. Search-indexed profiles must have a usable photograph, a category, multiple connected public accounts and supporting biographical or structured-reference information. Less complete records may remain accessible while enrichment or review continues.
Updates and corrections
Public information changes. We retain collection dates where available, refresh audience snapshots separately from biographies, and accept documented corrections through our Corrections Policy. We do not accept payment to change a factual review outcome.
